This week Mimeta joined thirty cultural groups for networking and instant training.

All thirty culture groups in Abbara - from Tunisia, Syria, Yemen, Libya and Egypt gathered by the Red Sea for networking and instant training. Abbara was initiated by Al Mawred in response to the democratic transition occurring within the Arab nations. The program aims at building the institutional capacities of around independent cultural and artistic groups from the region thus assuring their sustainability and capacity in playing a more active and influential role in the society not only during the current transition period but also in the future.

There have been introductions to the current situation related to culture and human rights in the attending countries, and culture policy training, among other subjects on the agenda.
