With the East African Festival network Bayimba is partnering shared programming, enabling skill exchange programmes and production. Mobility and exchange among festivals, enhancing access to regional creative content among stakeholders in the arts.
The noted indicators for this work in 2023 were that the number of artists/stakeholders facilitated, number of collaborations and follow-up activities should reach 150 by the end of 2023. The yearly report noted that 60 artists were received from the region to participate in collaboration and exchange with artists from Uganda at Bayimba events. A further 12 artists from Uganda were noted as documented and featured on the Bayimba YouTube channel.
