Created in February 2010 in Ségou by four cultural organizations under the leadership of Mr. Mamou Daffé, KYA is the network of cultural organizations in Mali. It was born from the desire of its members to establish a space for reflection and analysis of issues relating to the culture of Mali.

This mission is carried out through training, exchange, information, communication, advocacy and lobbying; in order to make culture a strategic development axis in Mali, with the creation of decent jobs and the promotion of cultural industries.

Today, the network is made up of professionals from different cultural sectors who are committed to putting their expertise and know-how at the service of art and culture. It is a dynamic network made up of several national cultural member organizations.

The network's actions aim to enable cultural entrepreneurs to better know their audience, to create mediation tools, synergistic effects between them, to collect data in order to raise awareness among stakeholders and political decision-makers on the need to support culture. as a priority area of ​​development.
