An organizational matter high on the agenda is the ways of outreaching. This was actualized during the epidemic period, as it called for new digital solutions, and again actualized with focus on societal impact.  Most of the organizations are still developing these digital facilities to improve dissemination and outreach and the use of rich media in their communication. Nor have they yet put resources in the gathering and systematization of sufficient information that includes their beneficiaries. The most advanced ones, however, are using digital platforms quite extensively, also in their programming. For many of our partners, outreach is embedded in their interventions, like the Impact examples from Beirut DC, where outreach is part of the process, part of the relationships, and part of the discourse on impact.

“Our communication and outreach approach through its digital platforms is based on gaining loyal and consistent followers and subscribers to the resources it offers. The organization shares resources on an almost daily basis, informing audiences about its work and expanding outreach frameworks and channels.  There will be special opportunities to promote research efforts, with special focus on refugees in the Arab region, in addition to expanding the organization’s work on the freedom of expression and protection.”

 All together the nine organizations supported in 2022 have about 500 thousand followers on social media, and they had 300 thousand interactions on these platforms. They and their beneficiaries attracted 75 thousand people for their events during 2022 and had about 11 hundred news coverages. About eight thousand people attended seminars, conferences and meetings organized by them or their beneficiaries. Nine hundred attended trainings and workshops and financially they supported 70 organizations in addition to 650 professionals. They also had about 215 thousand downloads of different reports, programs, films and other material from their websites last year.
