Like all the cross-cutting issues, Mimeta is committed to the issue of anti-corruption. Mimeta has a zero-tolerance policy regarding corruption and has established clear and rigorous policies and mechanisms which ensure that corruption does not take place at any level.

Ethical considerations such as clear codes of conduct and opportunities to report discrepancies, are essential practices for Mimeta and its partners, and a system is set in place for notifications of behaviour that is contrary to the policies. In Mimeta and beyond, we strive to establish policies and procedures which ensure good governance and anti-corruption. To further guarantee this, all contracts with partners contain provisions regarding good governance and financial management.

An action introduced in spring 2024 is a notification channel to be used by all actors involved in Mimeta's programme. This is laid down in Mimeta's guidelines for work against misconduct. The purpose of these notification procedures is to establish a clear and secure process for reporting objectionable conditions within our organization and the programs Mimeta runs. This contributes to integrity and transparency and strengthens our efforts for sustainability and ethical behaviour.

The procedure applies to all employees, including managers, permanent and temporary employees, consultants and other collaborators who are partners of Mimeta and their partners or grantees, and other participants involved in realizing Mimeta's programs. The procedure aims to uncover any objectionable conditions within the organization and the programs so that we can address the problem and prevent it from recurring.
